Isn’t it funny how we never know how to feel about family? I think it’s because they’ve seen the best AND worst sides of you so they’re the ones that make you feel the most vulnerable and that can be a good or bad thing depending on who you’re dealing with.

I see this a lot in my family. We can get annoyed with each other (me mostly it seems – still being the temperamental one) and yet every time we have to leave we ache at the fact we won’t see eachother for another how-ever-so long. As crazy as our time together sometimes is, it all just goes away when we have to say bye, and I continue to miss them more and more and more each time.
