Ohhhhh the groomsman duties! He might as well be the one getting married considering how much they have to do as part of the “job.” Also, the sickness thing is no joke, because they suddenly become one more “kid” you have to take care of, one more person who can’t fend for themselves. I know you’ve been feeling burnt out. Make sure you do take some time for yourself once things get back to normal. Even if it’s just a walk around the block (by yourself). I’ll be praying for us both to weather the single parent storm when in rolls in.

I’ve been feeling quite burnt out with no time to myself and its hard. I love these tips – even with an 8 month old – especially cutting yourself some slack. I’ve been trying to work on this, small steps at a time. I’ll be remembering these tips as my son gets older too and more opportunities arrive for temporary single parenting (like in a months time when hubby is a groomsmen at a wedding and will be gone a couple of days). Thank you for sharing!
