I didn’t know that about your husband! I cannot believe that happen when you were literally freshly post-partumed. I don’t know how you survived it and lived to tell the tale. I am so glad he is steady and stable and the medication is working. “Medical marvels” are real.

I’m so hopeful he can live without the medication, but also there’s no shame in having to go back on if it’s necessary. My husband is on epilepsy medication too, although for him it’s almost certainly a forever thing. He had a grand mal when he was medicated and Ave was a week old (hello newborn stress) so yeah…we’re going stay the course but I’m praying for you guys.

About two years ago, we took this same journey of taking my son off the epilepsy medication that had kept him seizure free for 3 years. It terrified me. But it worked :). All is well.
