I always think it is funny how people assume you can either be introvert or extrovert because I tend to be outgoing in the summer and enjoy my quiet during the winter. We can just assume forever and anon that you and I will probably have the same reaction to seasons and friendships and work, etc : )

I am seriously hating this cold weather though. Tuesdays and Thursdays are the only days that all three kids are in school and it’s supposed to snow Monday night, which means not only will it not be the recoup day I need to get work done AND go to my PR meeting for the book, but all THREE will be home and stir crazy and bored. Deep breath.

Thank you for telling my guilty conscious that I’m not alone and that my inability/unwillingness/lack of desire/difficulty to get out and see the people I “should” see, and make those new “adult friends” like i’ve been wanting to…..is a shared feeling at this time of year. Sadly I ended up cancelling out on coffee plans I had with someone this weekend. It went both ways, but the recent snow fall and return to freezing temperatures just weighed so heavily into the “but I’d rather stay home” side of things. Sigh. This time of year is hard. Meeting up with people could lift the spirits, but, more than staying home warm??
